Raygun is the go-to shop for not only KC lovers, but for any Midwesterner who errs towards sarcasm. It’s a Midwest-based retailer started in Iowa, so you’re supporting a local, small business. charlie hustle
You might not know it, but Charlie Hustle is the origin of half the KC stuff in your closet. The shirts with KC in a heart in them? Charlie Hustle. Visit their store on the Plaza or shop online to find merch with KC themed everything, including local professional and collegiate teams.
The Middle
Another new spot in the area to stock up on all things KC is The Middle, a shop in downtown Parkville that opened just last fall. They carry everything about KC and made in KC; soaps, jewelry, art prints, home goods, apparel, and this adorable Western Auto sign tote you didn’t know you needed. And don’t worry, their goodies represent for both Kansas and Missouri sides. No matter what part of Kansas City you’re from, you’ll be walking out with an awesome new something.
The Jeweled Gypsy
The Jeweled Gypsy is an awesome local shop that specializes in Bohemian fashion. Its flagship store is located in Overland Park, but their mobile store (think food truck but full of cute jewelry) can be seen around Westport or the Crossroads when the weather is right. Good luck resisting the urge to buy everything when the summer starts and their trucks roll back out. Seriously.
