Every Friday, the MAKE team gets together to enjoy some great Westport food and talk about the progress of the week. We love to eat, that’s no secret, and choosing just one meal to talk about was a near impossibility, but there are a few locations we keep coming back to, from Friday lunches to Tuesday afternoon snacks.
Just behind the MAKE office is a little, hidden gem of Mexican cuisine.
Cancun Fiesta Fresh
There is another, more obvious, location across the street on Broadway Blvd., but we frequent the location on Pennsylvania since it’s right in our backyard. The salsas are great, the food is fresh, and we always leave full and satisfied. It’s especially nice to have a place to go when you need to get food fast, without having to deal with fast food tastes.
On Tuesday afternoons, it isn’t uncommon to see at least one MAKER enter the doors and order their $1 taco Tuesday special. The street tacos are especially delicious. We smother them in lime juice for that extra kick of flavor. Other items we pile on our plates (before they are promptly devoured) include the yummy taquitos, burritos, and quesadillas.
You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, plus the drawings it inspires during meetings are unbeatable.
